President's Message

I am honoured to be the 25th President of the Kempenfelt Rotary Club. I joined this vibrant Club in June 2015 and have not looked back. 

 

Barrie has been my home since childhood and I have seen the positive impact that Rotary has had on our great city. 

 

I have recently retired from a 20-year career in the hospital sector, most recently as the Director of Business Development and Supply Chain at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. 

 

Our club has a membership of 70 inspiring Rotarians doing great work in our community and around the world.

 

Our signature events include Battle of the Bands, Colt for a Day, Kempenfelt Derby, 100 Holes of Golf, and Kids Fishing Day. 

 

We have made recent donations to RVH, Hospice Simcoe, Seasons Centre, Gilda's, Women's and Children's Shelter, Youth Haven and many other local charities. 

 

Our Rotary District theme for 2023-24 is LIVE YOUR LEGACY. 

 

I will LIVE MY LEGACY by actively participating in our Club, helping to grow our membership, giving back to our community while having fun doing it.
