Barrie Trojan Swim Club

Kelly McCrae is a parent to 3 active Barrie Trojan Swim Club swimmers and this is the 9th season her family has been involved with the Club. She is the current BTSC Vice President, a level 3 official with Swim Ontario,  and is an avid swimmer and outdoor enthusiast.  

Kelly is a Physiotherapist by training, now working as a professional practice lead and quality improvement specialist in acute healthcare.

Barbara Johnson is a wife, mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to two. She is the founder and passionate volunteer with Candlelighters Simcoe Parents of Children with Cancer. She is an avid swimmer who has been part of Masters Swim programs for 37 years.

Trevor Cowan is the past President of BTSC and level 5 master official with Swimming Canada.  Trevor has more than 16 years of experience on the pool deck as a volunteer official and is chair of the Swim Ontario Officials Committee supporting 8,000 volunteers in the province.  He routinely plans and runs events at 50m aquatic centers provincially, across Canada, and internationally.

When not on a pool deck, Trevor currently manages technical staff delivering IT systems for Bell Media’s broadcast properties.
