Rob Armstrong has been a full time YMCA staff member for over 38 years.  He has held several CEO positions across the country as well as a position with the YMCA of Toronto as the Senior VP of YMCA Ontario.  Rob has been giving senior leadership to the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka since the spring of 2011.  He is the father of four children and "papa" to two grandchildren.  Over his career he has sat on numerous boards and committees and is currently on a leave of absence from the Barrie Huronia Rotary Club.

Brian Tamblyn was born and raised in Barrie.  He spent most of his career working at Georgian College and recently retired as their President and CEO.  Brian has been a member of the YMCA board of directors since 2016 and is currently Co - Chair of the YMCA's current Capital Campaign initiative to raise funds for a new YMCA in Barrie.
