Jim is a principal at ABEX Private Wealth Management and heads up the Business Advisory Group.  Jim has co-founded three companies over the last fifteen years in the high tech and biotech industries.  Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Arctic Diagnostics Inc., which was awarded Life Sciences Company of the year honours.  Immediately prior to Arctic, Jim was CFO and COO of Tm Bioscience Corporation, a TSX listed company.  Jim has broad capital markets experience, having raised $100M from a variety of private and public sources for his startups.  He holds a B.Comm. degree from the University of Ottawa, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has held a number of Board and volunteer positions in a variety of organizations.
